Well the most topics are german in there, but there are also a few english topics where you can ask your questions and discuss problems, wishes, etc... What it is about:A page where you can find flags from countries all over the world. Also my animated flags are from this site. Only available in German, but I think the navigation is so simple you really don’t need to speak German. What it is about:I sent a package with spare parts to John's Cafe by Post, he is a very nice and friendly guy, and you will find a lot of information on his site all aroud Kashgar and what you can do there. Well if you also want to send a Package please contact him at: johncafe@hotmail.com My package needed around 10-12 days from Austria to Kashgar. What it is about:A site with which it is possible to open blocked sites. Its very essential especially in china, a lot of sites cannot be reached there, but anonymouse makes it possible! Special friends.What it is about:This site is about my friend Harald Hel, who is holding a lot of world records with his scooter. On his site you will find some informations about his records. (only in ![]() What it is about:This is the private site of my uncle Gottfried Füreder, who is publishing a lot of private photos there. I guess you can also grab some photos of myself on his site. Sites from other people travelling.Mark Krebser was going along with me for a quiet far way through eastern turkey. He has taken great pictures, and wrote nice reports (only in ![]() ![]() I met Bill Weier from the USA in Kyrgyzstan, and he told me that there were a few other people before me so I startet a sprint trough the rest of Kyrgyzstan :D. Bill was cycling around in china for one year. (only in ![]() I met Else and Polle (Belgium) in Kashgar (China) whith a lot of other cyclists. They have a very professional site, check it out! (only in ![]() Well I meet Sander and Jessica (Netherlands) just around 100 km after the border in China on the way to Kashgar. These were two of the three people Bill Weier told me to be before me so I wanted to catch them and at least I got them. We had quiet a lot of fun on the way as well as in Kashgar. (site only in ![]() I meet Beat Blaser (swizerland) with Sander and Jessica before Kashgar. (most parts in german ![]() ![]() ![]() Met Stefan Raynaud (french speaking swiss) in Kashgar, he also cycled tibet. (only in french ![]() ![]() Well I met Maurizio Ceraldi (Italy) also in Kashgar. (only in german ![]() Well I meet them also in Kashgar (China). Jan and Jan, he is from the Netherlands and she is from Canada. She got some problems with her knees, so they stopped their cycle tour and started hitch hiking through the world. (only in english ![]() I meet them in Saga (Tibet,China), they gave me a lot of tips in finding and getting some sponsors :D. Thank you Karin van Toor and Peter Mak (Netherlands). (dutch ![]() ![]() Well I met Jukka Salminen from Finland in eastern Tibet. He was riding with Fred from Belgium. (finish ![]() ![]() I met them with Hamada in Kunming (China), they were cycling for a few years, before they went down to africa. Very nice girls, I would like to say these are the cycling spice girls. They were also from england, their names are: Rachel Evans, Julie Gompertz,Christine Mead and; Hilary Winter, Hilary stopped her cycling tour to go back home fore a job, so there are three spice girls left. They also went from Nepal to Lasha and then down to Kunming. (english ![]() I met Hamada Shather (aka Joe) from england in Kunming (China) (the Cloud land hostle). He had taken a very interesting route through Kazakhstan. (english ![]() He also speaks Thai. Before I started the tour I was in contact with Martin from Germany. Because he had the same direction we were thinking about cycling together. But at the end my plan was to cycle Tibet in 2006 and so everybody started by his own. His girlfriend Britta was guiding him in sections. They ended their tour by hitchhiking. Later in Bangkok (Thailand) I met Martin. Well it's fascinating; you are cycling thousands of km around the half globe to meet a person ;). (In German ![]() ![]() I meet these couple (Heinrich and Laura) from switzerland just a few km before I reached the Kailash in western Tibet. (only ![]() ![]() I meet these couple (Ben and Ge) from Canada just a few km before I reached the border to Vietnam in China.
